Shipping Policy & Methods at Louies Gift Shack:
We ship most domestic orders via UPS Ground, Fed Ex, United States Postal Service Priority Mail, Parcel Post, or First Class Mail. The chosen shipping method for each order is dependent upon destination, package weight, and shipping charges assessed. Orders with combined weight of 3lbs and under generally ship USPS First Class, Parcel or Priority Mail. Large orders generally ship UPS. Only orders shipped via UPS will have online tracking. See details below. UPS Next Day Air, 2 Day Select and USPS Express Mail are available, if orders are needed quickly, for an additional fee. Please let us know if you would like one of these services by making the appropriate selection in final checkout. Your shipping email confirmation will indicate the method of service used. Next Day Air orders shipped on Friday and 2 Day Select orders shipped on Thursday will arrive on Monday. PLEASE NOTE: UPS only delivers Monday through Friday. APO, FPO, AND International Orders:
Shipping charges for APO and FPO boxes are shipped via United States Postal Service. Shipping charges for International Orders vary greatly and may not calculate correctly during checkout. If additional shipping fees are needed in order to ship your order we will send an email with the additional fees required and an invoice to pay from. Submit payment for additional ship fees or if you wish to cancel the order please contact us with cancellation notice. Direct Shipments from Manufacturer:
Some of our products are shipped directly from the manufacturer on a regular basis. Generally the products are shipped from manufacturer within 2 to 3 days but shipping times can vary in this situation depending on manufacturer's stock status or if product is made to order. Our customer service department will contact you if we are informed by manufacturer or if we foresee a possible delay in your shipment.
At times it may be neccessary to have a regularly stocked item ship direct from manufacturer. Again we will contact you if we foresee a delay in the shipping time.
Free Shipping Specials and Promotions:
Our standard shipping rates will apply to any returned merchandise orders originally shipped with free shipping. If your purchase qualifies for Free Shipping but your order also contains one or more ineligible items, you'll be charged shipping fees for those ineligible items. If a shipping mal-function occurs and ineligible items are not properly charged for shipping, customer is still responsible to pay the corrected shipping fees or cancel order. If cancellation causes order to drop below the specified threshold shipping fees will incur on remaining eligible items. Free shipping applies only to purchases totaling over specified of qualifying merchandise, excluding ineligible merchandise, gift wrap charges, and taxes. Free Shipping applies only to shipments in the 48 Continental United States. Alaska, Hawaii, and International shipments will incur shipping fees. Please contact customer service for a quote. APO/FPO addresses must use U.S. zip codes and may incur a small fee. Some special product, order, or handling fees may still apply. You will not receive Free Shipping if any eligible items are cancelled, bringing the total below specified free ship purchase minimum. If you return any items from a free shipping purchase, the original shipping savings will be deducted from refund unless return was due to our error. Louie's Gift Shack reserves the right to change or discontinue Free Shipping at any time.
Notifications and Emails:
After your initial online order, we will send you a confirmation email. It will include a list of the products you ordered, the address that the shipment will be sent to, and the total amount that will be charged to your credit card. You will also receive an order number that can be referenced, in case you have any questions, concerns, or you would like to request a change to your order. This will list the status of all items ordered, date of processing, shipping method, and include a tracking number.
Return Policy at Louies Gift Shack:
We believe in offering value, quality and selection. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return unused items in original packaging with labels intact for a refund or exchange within 10 days from the date of receipt less the shipping and handling fees. We will gladly except the return / exchange on your merchandise provided that all merchandise is in its original packaging and complete with all packaging, warranty cards, manuals, and any other product documentation and is in no way damaged or used. Merchandise must be shipped back in outer original shipping corrugated box or container. Returns cannot be processed with missing materials or in used condition. Special or custom orders may not be returned unless defective. In the case of apparel items, the item must have all original tags still attached and must not have been washed, worn or be missing any tags. Any items that are returned that do not meet these conditions will be subject to a 20% or more restock fee based on the condition of the merchandise.
We will gladly except a return / exchange on your merchandise provided that all merchandise is in its original packaging and is in no way damaged or used. Defective Merchandise:
Louies sells and ships only new manufacturer products. Defects in product are caused by and the responsibility of the manufacturer. Should your merchandise arrive defective please contact manufacturer for their defective return requirements and policies.
If issue is not resolved satisfactorily with manufacturer, please contact Louies Gift Shack customer service department and we will work with you to try to resolve issue. If manufacturer requires you to send defective item back to Louies Gift Shack, you will be responsible for shipping fees to send defective item back to us.
Damaged Merchandise:
Louies Gift Shack visually inspects each item before carefully packing and shipping item. Should your merchandise arrive damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt of shipment.
Returns We Cannot Accept:
- Returns without original packaging, manuals, and documentation.
- Returns after 10 days of receipt.
- Special order or personalized products.
- Merchandise in used or not in original condition, is damaged, or missing parts.
- Merchandise not shipped back in outer original corrugated box or container.
- Any down-loadable merchandise.
- Any merchandise that must be returned to manufacturer due to defects. Please contact manufacturer for details on return. Each manufacturer has their own return requirements.
To Return an Item:
For orders being sent to our returns department, please be sure to ship your item with delivery confirmation. This service is offered by UPS or USPS and other carriers. Please include a note with your address and daytime telephone number along with your instructions and a copy of your sales receipt or packing slip and ship to:

Inventory:
We update our inventory at the end of every business day. The quantity in stock on items that appear as Available has not taken into consideration the orders placed since the last time inventory was updated. Inventory totals may also be off due to other reasons as well (i.e. returns, breakage, miscounts, etc.). If your order can not be fulfilled as placed, you will receive an e-mail stating the items that are currently out of stock with an estimated date as to when we expect to be able to complete your order. If the estimated date will not work for you please contact us so we may cancel your order.
Product Images:
We do our best to keep all item product images and descriptions up to date on our site. However, product designs may change without notice from our suppliers; it is possible a different design is shown than what is actually in stock.
If an item is missing, be advised that you may receive more than one shipment when you place an order for multiple items. You will not incur additional shipping charges for the split shipment. The packing slip enclosed with your shipment will indicate which items were shipped. If you have additional questions please feel free to contact customer service.
